Description

Struggling with the subtleties of fem-on-fem flirting?

Whether you’re bisexual, pansexual, lesbian, questioning, or a non-binary babe, this workshop is your “no-boys-allowed” sandbox to learn, practice, and play. This workshop is open to femmes of all experience levels. Whether you're a seasoned queer flirt or just starting out in your quest for romance, you'll leave with valuable insights and practical techniques.

 What’s on the Agenda?

  • Understanding the Landscape: We'll start by exploring the complex world of queer interactions. Why does flirting with other women feel so different? We’ll dissect societal norms and the invisible backpack of expectations we carry into our interactions.
  • Facing Fears: Rejection? Internalized heteronormativity? We’re tackling these head-on. Learn strategies to boost your confidence and say goodbye to those nagging doubts about whether you’re "queer enough."
  • Visibility Vows: Feel invisible in the queer scene? We'll shine a light on how to be seen, both within and outside the LGBTQIA+ spectrum.
  • Non-Monogamy Nuances: Polyamory and ethical non-monogamy add a level of complexity to these interactions, but we’ll discuss how to navigate them with ease and how to avoid the Unicorn Trap.
  • Scripts for Success: Toss out those nonexistent rulebooks! We’re scripting our own guidelines for flirting that feels right. From starting a conversation to sealing the deal with a date, get ready to write your own flirtatious playbook.
  • Practical Practice: Engage in real-life scenarios and role-plays that let you practice your new skills in a supportive, fun, and absolutely encouraging environment.

Why Join Us? This workshop isn’t just about finding your flirt; it’s about finding your force. Alexandra Snow, a seasoned queer educator with extensive experience in the art of femme flirting, invites you to an empowering and insightful workshop designed specifically for femmes. Alexandra brings not just her expertise but her personal journey as a polyam, bisexual fem, providing insights that are deep, sometimes daring, and always affirming.

Who’s This For? This is for those who identify as a fems, non-binary folks, and trans women who resonate with any shade of the queer spectrum. This includes those who are bisexual, lesbian, demisexual, pansexual, curious, exploring, and much more. This workshop is not for cis men, however.

Note: This class emphasizes respect, consent, and inclusivity. Let’s keep it sassy but classy!

HIGH POTENTIAL, NO PRESSURES

Our community thrives in a space where countless delightful interactions could happen, but none are obligated to occur. Think of it as "high possibility, low expectations." Outside of our general respect requirements, you are not obligated to interact with anyone in any particular way. This makes our space ideal for new faces and seasoned community members alike.

COMMUNITY GATHERING

Our events aren't the product of one person hosting a party for pay; they result from a community coming together and creating something new. Everyone who attends is expected to co-create with us! Whether that's with time, energy, enthusiasm, work, intention, example, concern, and/or awareness. Have ideas, games, art, or music to share? Want to bring them to life with us?

A FOUNDATION OF TRUST

Our gatherings are magical because of trust. We fiercely protect each member's privacy, encourage honest risk communication, and diligently care for our shared environments. It's our collective respect and integrity that fortify this safe space.

CLEAR AND PRESENT CONSENT

Upholding consent goes beyond preventing harm; it's about affirming everyone's freedom to fully and joyfully agree to their interactions. It's through this affirmation that our spaces thrive with genuine, unreserved participation.

INCLUSION AND DIVERSITY

We're committed to inclusivity. Our community is a tapestry of individuals from diverse racial, ethnic, and social backgrounds, including all gender identities and expressions. We encourage everyone to engage with empathy and curiosity, always asking rather than assuming someone's identity or preferences. Our space is and always will be wheelchair accessible, with multiple spaces for varying sensory needs.
