Summary

Three words: Cat. Dance. Party. We don't think any further words are necessary, but wasting the opportunity to talk about our upcoming Cat Rave event gives us paws for thought. A percentage of proceeds to benefit Colony Cats rescue!

Description

The Cat Rave 2.0 August 22nd at The Autonomy Project. 8pm to 10pm

THE CAT RAVE 2.0

Last time, Cat Rave sold out. Apparently, Columbus was more than ready to crawl into the dark, put on cat ears, and lose its collective mind to the rhythm.

So we’re opening the portal again.

Cat Rave 2.0 is one part mysterious underground EDM event, one part internet cat fever dream, and one part fundraiser for very real cats and very real people. Proceeds will support Colony Cats and the Autonomy Project Mutual Aid Fund.

Expect filthy house, techno, and electro from local DJs. Expect lasers, black lights, cat memes, strange little surprises, cardboard box art installation, and so much more. Cat-themed drink specials, this event will have alcohol!

Cat-themed attire is strongly encouraged. Go subtle with ears or leopard print. Go full void creature. Wear your cat’s face on a shirt. Interpret “cat” as loosely and dramatically as your heart desires. No actual cats, please, for their sensitive little ears can't handle the bass thumping.

More surprises to be announced soon.

Proceeds to Benefit:

Colony Cats & Dogs
AP LGBTQIA+ Mutual Aid Fund
