May Lavendar Library
Lavender Library is our queer book club for people who enjoy reading and sitting with what a story brings up afterward. For May, we’re reading Peter Darling by Austin Chant.
This reimagining of Peter Pan asks a different question: what happens when you return to Neverland not as the boy you were, but as the person you’ve become?
It’s a story about identity, longing, growing into yourself, and the complicated, sometimes tender ways we relate to our past. There’s magic, yes - but also something quieter underneath: grief, recognition, and the feeling of finally being seen.
As always, Lavender Library isn’t about having the “right” interpretation. It’s about thoughtful conversation, shared reflection, and making space for the different ways a story can land. You’re welcome to come whether you’ve finished the book, started it, or just want to listen. Bring your thoughts, your questions, or just yourself.

DRESS CODE
When it comes to attire, we want to encourage comfort and expression at Wicked Eden. We want you to feel comfortable and in the mood to have an adventure! We want you to feel safe expressing yourself in whatever you desire. We encourage you to go outside your comfort zone with festive, outrageous, or fantastic clothing you never get to wear anywhere else.
