Description

Roleplay (Curating a Character):

Sometimes we all want to be or be with someone exciting and new, but incorporating roleplay into your spicy times can be intimidating. With a little planning and a grab bag of tricks, though, you can have the tools to step into an alter ego’s shoes with confidence and joy. Neither brings their fifteen years of professional theatre experience to share practical tips and tricks for creating, embodying, and then safely leaving behind a wide range of characters for bedroom (or board room or Mars colony) fun. Come ready to move through the space, get a little silly, and discover a new world of possibilities!

About the Presenter:

Neither (they/she, BothsAndNeithers on FetLife) is a fat, queer theatre artist/educator and creative type - you may have met them cross stitching in the back of a workshop! As a director, theatrical intimacy coordinator, and artistic mental health coordinator, she spends a lot of professional time thinking about how healthy collaboration and power wielded well can shape dynamic stories and curate the kinds of no-hold-barred play spaces adults don’t usually get to access. The Venn diagram between her theatrical and kink interests is, as you might imagine, a circle. (Yes, they also play D&D.)
